A MAJOR national bank has been forced to remove more than 100 misleading out of order signs from its ATMs after being targeted by anti-coal activists.
A score of ANZ Banking Group machines sprawled across six capital cities were plastered with "out of order" signs on Sunday after campaigners launched their latest bid to draw attention to the bank's funding of the coal industry.
better get a move on peeple,re comments for old ladies and babies;the rigs will be here next year to begin fracking the canning basin.you'd better believe it.this is why the tonc mob have to rush JPP,they need it for the canning gas.The dominoes will then fall all across the kimberley, with the good old land rights flag waving along in the background.this has been the plan from the very beginning.
ReplyDeleteYes this was always on the plans of the K.L.C.,and Barnett etc.It is the main reason that JPP has to proceed. If JPP fails it would spell the end of Bergman and Barnetts dream. The T.O.N.C.have been well aware of this from the start. How many people in the Canning Basin have been made aware is another story.Fergusson and Burke are well into it,just look at the drama unfolding in Queensland.Of course there is still the problem of how to handle the emissions from this giant plant. They will try to say it's isolated enough, but that still leaves Australias carbon reduction in jeopardy.
ReplyDeleteEveryone should be wary of the KLC in this. Some years back when there was talk of the plant going in Roebuck Bay I spoke to a couple of people from the TONC.I asked them,"Why don't they put it on an island, like Koolan".They replied, without skipping a beat,"No they need it there because of all the gas in the Canning Basin".So this has been discussed by all the parties for a very long time.Bergman is just like Barnett,he has tied his reputation to pushing this through.
