NO GAS canoe protest, James Price Point,

More than a dozen kayaks and canoes, tinnies and over 25 crew advanced on the drilling rigs located at James Price Point today to object to the planned world’s largest gas processing precinct at James Price Point. In a very well organised and brave effort, rowers pulled up to one of the rigs raising ‘no gas’ signs protesting against the State Government’s plans for compulsory acquisition of land and sea at James Price Point.

Top effort, Wild Productions for great footage.

Their aim, to stop gas production on this most beautiful part of the Kimberley coastline as well as a most important and beautiful recreation area for Broome residents. A promise declared today, for more direct action against the gas proposal.
