Woodside seeking permission to disrupt Aboriginal heritage sites to build the Kimberley gas hub.

ABC Online Indigenous - News:
Meanwhile, Woodside will today have its case heard as to why it should be granted permission to disrupt Aboriginal heritage sites to build the Kimberley gas hub.

The company has applied for a section 18 clearance through the Department of Indigenous Affairs.

If approved, Woodside would be allowed access to the entire Browse liquefied natural gas precinct area, near James Price Point, which is known to contain Indigenous heritage sites.

The company's previous application was granted in January, enabling it to conduct initial investigations of the site.
